TexPrint Tacky Sub Paper Temp Activation

I am considering switching to TexPrint Tacky paper in lieu of tacky spray. I understand that the adhesive activates during the heat press phase BUT am wondering if there is a lower (non-sub temp) temperature that the adhesive will activate, adhere to the substrate, but not begin the ink sublimation process.

Mainly I am wondering of there is a way to adhere the paper to the substrate before actually placing it into the press without gassing the sub ink?

Not sure if I am making sense or not.

For example... perhaps at a low temp of 100F the paper will adhere to the substrate but the sub ink will still remain dormant until placed into the press @ 400F.

It's messy.

I have noticed mentions of other types of sub tacky papers available other than TexPrint, but can't seem to find any suppliers. I'm in SWFL. Someone mentioned a paper that works great, Hilar or something like that. I don't have time to look up the thread right now, sorry. But I DID contact the company asking for info on USA suppliers and haven't heard back from them. It's been days, no reply. I recall someone mentioned they purchase it from a supplier in Pompano Beach. Of course they didn't mention the actual name of the company they buy from....
