Ok so what is the difference then.
The difference between having more stations and micro-registration, and not?

Production speed, basically.

More stations makes loading, unloading, flashing, etc. more efficient. It also gives you more cool down time after the flash, so you're less likely to get back-flashing.

Micros make setting up multi-colour jobs a lot quicker and easier.

Time is money, so if you're in a high production environment both can pay for themselves in the long run. If you're not, you might be happier to get by with cheaper equipment.

The biggest reason I can think of for getting a 6 color press over a 4 color .. I know most our jobs are just 2 or 3 spot colors which is great for a 4 color press .. If you are like me ...I always like to learn new things about the printing process .. Ok with that said .. If you have only a 4 color press you cant do process colors on dark shirts ... you need the 4 process colors plus a white for the white under base for dark shirts .. so that's 5 colors .. and you can get by with a 2 station press but a 4 station ... you can go so much faster .. say you have 4 colors .. you can print one station with red spin it print another red spin it print another red spind it print another red then print the next color .. you will be printing 4 putting on a new shirt printing 4 putting on a new shirt you can go soooo much faster

The 6x2 Ryonet Silver Press rocks! They have done a great job of designing it. I looked at it and the Hopkins side by side and for the money you can't go wrong! Sure he micro registration is nice if you have an extra grand and half to spend, I don't at this time. Looking at the my Silver Press I think it may be possible to build a micro setup to modify it at a resonable cost, I wouldn't be surprised if Ryonet comes out with and upgrade kit in the future as they are pretty sharp thinkers! I think the best bang for the buck is hands downs the Silver Press from Ryonet.
