See if iStock.com is what you're looking for. They are known mostly for their photographs but also have lots of clipart.

iStockPhoto was once great for t-shirt printers, super affordable with reasonable licensing, UNTIL Getty Images bought them. Once that took place, I no longer bothered with them. The problem with Getty is they think everyone has the budget of the New York Times.

Clipartboom.com | Premium Vector and Digital Clip Art Designs is a fairly new one as well. But they sell more templated designs. Can get some of the clipart elements as well.

 

I am looking for clipart also so I am just curious why would you ask for clipart sites that you have to pay for ? are there no good free sites ?

 

Everyone is looking for free clipart, so there is a big chance that a thousand other people are using ur same clipart. So why would you wanna sell a product and me, jim, an greg has that same picture? Im not sayin that paid cliparts are exclusive to u but atleast the percentage of ppl using the same pic is smaller. Everyone goes for freebies! But hey, to each his own.

 

Also free clip art doesn't always mean you are free to sell it on garments.

 

how does a person know if you use free clipart on a garment if you can sell it or not ?

 

I'm no lawyer. And I have been corrected before but just because something is free on the internet doesn't mean you are free to sell it.
If it doesn't say specifically you can sell it then technically you can not. But the chances of getting a cease and desist are slim

 

If you are trying to make a profit featuring a clipart in a design of a shirt of urs for example, it is very important to read the fine print or terms of condition of that clipart. U dont want to start making boatloads of money only to be sued and have to give up most of ur profit that took a yr to make. No one wants to go thru that. Would you work ur butt off that took endless time only to splurge all of it at the casino? most likely no, if so there is a problem...lol

 

There is no such thing as premium clipart. Sorry, it's all about terminology ... and anything that labels itself as clipart is generally of garbage quality. Vector stock art and royalty free artwork is different. I still use Istock as well as a couple other sites because there is quality control on the vector artwork submitted. Stock Photography: Search Royalty Free Images & Photos - iStock ... in order to sell your artwork you need to submit work that is publish ready ... none of that wonky vector garbage you get off clipart sites that are poor autotraces of a poor quality cell phone picture of an original vector that they then take and slap 2 more elements onto it and call it original even though all the elements are ganked.

As for stock art ... I generally will make my own or frequent shutterstock for a pre-made vector resource. I do on occasion use some vector sites for elements, but generally if I'm trying to be proud of something I won't use sites like Download Free Vector Files: Silhouettes, Outlines, Cutouts, Shapes Vecteezy! - Download Free Vector Art, Stock Graphics & Images... or Free Vector Search Engine - Download 281,150 Free Vector Graphics - Vector.me ... but if it takes me longer than 10 minutes to find something I'm looking for ... I will draw it myself.
