I've just about had it with the Veloci Jet. Ive owned it for 22 months and haven't printed a single job in all that time that I didn't have an issue. wonder if a lemon law would apply to it?

It's common in DTG ownership.

If a DTG printer is going to print well, it needs volume from day 1. Most DTG printers put the horse before the carriage and buy the printer before they have volume. That's why printers fail. Not the hardware but the lack of orders.

Print 24 shirts a day, every day, from day 1, and it won't give you so many headaches.

The Veloci-Jet is a fine piece of hardware and I have a few competitors who now have million dollar print businesses starting with that brand machine.

I wish it was as simple as not giving it enough work. I am aware the more it runs the better it runs. Im talking about throwing error lights daily and having support tell you they are not sure why. From day one given a book on the machine that was not up to date and filled with inaccurate information. even a good product sometimes can produce bad machine.

Thats part of the problem it throws all different error codes. right now im sitting with 2 solid red lights, just prior to that i had 2 blinking red lights and after trying to reset that by turning the machine off up to 3 times as per the book I did get a good nozzle check except for several thin lines to the left of the nozzle check at the edge of the platen. prior to that during its self check the yellow light for making a second pass would come on, I push it and it clears but no idea why it comes on that happened several times

I would guess that some hardware was changed recently, either by you or by a technician. Whoever did that hardware change may have incorrectly connected a cable, or damaged a cable connector, or any of a plethora of easy mistakes that can lead to these issues.

I've bumped small sensors before while doing basic maintenance and had 4 days of headaches tracking it all down.

Turned out to be a blown fuse, I had to open the machine find the 4 fuses test them all to see what was blown then order the correct fuse. once I had it and put it all back together it is now printing again. I would have never guessed a fuse, the machine powered up fine just wouldnt print and had the error lights that only said to get help lol

I'm having the same issues. I just bought this machine from someone and have had problems from the beginning. the seller has been very helpful with helping me troubleshoot though. we discovered a blown fuse so I've replaced the fuse. but while putting the cover back on I mistakenly disconnected a red wire. I reconnected it but the print head still will not move correctly during the booting process. I have two red blinking lights. so now I'm trying to find the schematics to the circuit board to see what that wire goes to because that could possibly be the problem. the troubleshooting is driving me crazy.
