Can anyone please tell me if the "Kiss Cut" paper people are still in business?
I have emailed them on thier website several times and never recieved a reply.

I really am interested in buying thier inks, CISS system, self weeding papers and also thier foils.

I am looking to spend a few hundred pounds but cannot seem to get any answers to my emails.

If not can anyone tell me where I can buy thier products in the UK?

Thanks....:)

Think you should concider one major issue here, if for some reason a supplyer is not mailing you back and this after you asking about items and you wanting to spend a few hundred, then i would stear clear.
Simple, think as a customer & a business, you want good communication between them, if this doesnt happen from the very start, then its time to move on to some one else.

Thankyou guys for your replies.:)
I do have a telephone number I can use that was on thier website, so I will give that a try and see what the response is like.
To be honest the only reason I am being persistant is because I really do want the Kiss Cut Self weeding paper. If I could find a similar product elsewhere I would go there instead but I have not heard of anyone else who sells it.
Do you guys know of a supplier where I can get a self weeding paper from?

Thanks again...;)

thanks yolo... but i dont want imageclip transfers as its a 2 step process and i dont have a laser printer.. i think the best bet is KISSCUT paper as all i need is an ink jet printer..

it doesnt seem like coastalbusiness.com has the kisscut papers.

:) Hi guys,

Sorry I have not replied to this before now but I have been a bit busy.
I finally managed to get hold of the Kisscut self weeding paper.
I tried it for the first time today and I am very very happy with it.
It works like a charm, it transferred really well and it has a VERY soft hand, looks great too and the colour transferred really well.
And best of all it removes the need for weeding completely.
I am going to be using a LOT of this paper along with the Yolo soft stretch paper too.
I am so glad I found this self weeding ink jet transfer paper as it means I did not have to buy a new printer. I already had an epson ink jet printer so I bought a Continuous Ink System for it and that too workd great.
All I want now is a good contour cutter so I can use metallic finish vinyls for lettering etc..
I am not a printing business, I am just starting up and I am going to design and sell one off personalised Tshirts from my home studio.
I already design and sell wire jewellery so this is an addition to the business I am already running.

So if you are looking for a self weeding inkjet paper the Kisscut is in my opinion very good.

Hi Icon9a...

Did you get the KISSCUT directly from them? I just sent an email today, and was hoping they're still in business, after reading earlier post saying they didn't respond.

I'm glad to hear you're having some success with the KISSCUT, have you tried washing it yet? Earlier posts had some problems in that area too........Thanks, Pete

I don't think there are any.

like you, I don't like the "laser copy mask" requirement of the 2 step process, because I don't think it's possible to completely align the mask to the image transfer when printing fine line cartoons or illustrations.

There were some papers from China, sold from the Philippines back in 2007 or so, and they still have their videos on YouTube, but I don't see the eBay listings for them now. Plus, only the people directly involved in selling the paper ever seemed to have any consistent success with it...everyone else seemed to have had problems.

The only other option I see is to farm out the printing to a DTG place that can do lights and darks...there's usually no minimum...and if you can find a local place you can drop off and pick up to save on shipping. But you have to trust that they are legit enough not to use the artwork files and sell your designs behind your back.

Hi guys,
I think it is important to know that although the Kisscut papers are for inkjet printers and they do say you can use the normal ink in your printer, if you do they wont hold up too well in the wash.
You need to use pigment based ink and not the ordinary dye based inks that come in your printer.
Pigment based inks will last up to 40-60 washes without fading.
Kisscut sell thier own brand of pigment based inks too. I did not buy thier ink tho......
I got mine from a company that sells Continuous Ink Supply Systems (CSS) and they sold pigment based inks too, so I got the whole kit for the CSS system from that company instead of Kisscut.

I think the reason people were having so many problems with the kisscut papers in the older posts on the forums (from 2007-ish) is that they were not using the correct pigment based inks and also not re-pressing for 60 seconds after the initial pressing to make the inks colour fast.

I hope that helps some of you guys who are looking into using this paper.:)

[FONT=&quot]Hi,

I don't know whether you will be interested in buying "Unbranded" Brand New Never Been Opened Plain white short sleeved t-shirts (without brand labels and does include product care information included on the bottom right hand side of t-shirt) these are made to a highest of quality and fitting (made in the same factory as some of the major high street establishments).

The t-shirts would be ideal for screen printing, embroidering, or for those who simply want to establish their own brand. It also comes with its own packaging and is ready to be re-sellable.
