Am currently looking at this printer so would love to know how it went.

I was looking at cobra ink systems for awhile at their kit with the CIS for the epson WF1100 and was going to buy that, this is the same price, with wifi, mobile printing, fax and scanner.

My only problem I can see is that it only has one black (not two like the WF1100) but I guess with CIS it wouldn't be a problem anyway.

Does anyone know if this prints in a different way than the 1100?

I had to change my black cart and went to the 127. I have a Cobra CIS system but haven't installed yet. I am still deciding on which ink to buy. Most websites are still geared for the WF-1100 and do not reference the 75xx series.
The OEM Durabright Ultra inks are the same in all Epson printers, therefore any 3rd party inks that support the WF1100 (which uses Durabrite Ultra OEM) will support the 7510.

Cobra lists the 7510 and has bulk inks available.

I just bought the Epson 7510 after trying for MONTHS to get my old R1800 to work with TWO different CISS (kept clogging).
I chose the 7510 for the Durabrite inks. Unfortunately, no matter what paper setting I choose, I can't seem to get a decent transfer printed. The ink runs all over the place.
I'm using paper that worked fine with my old R1800.
Any clues on what I'm doing wrong?

PROBLEM SOLVED!
My problem was the PAPER.
I was testing the printer on some old stock, Cotton Magic. Switched to some OTHER old stock I have from TShirtSupplies with green lines on the back, and the transfers look be U tee ful!
Now I'll have to see what happens when I press them.
I read some complaints that the Durabrite inks turn greenish when pressed with a heat press. I'm pondering purchasing some JetPro paper or maybe some Red Grid from Coastal.
Anybody tried these papers with Durabrite (Epson) ink from the 7510? Any reviews on the Red Grid? It's a little cheaper.
ANY advice will be greatly appreciated.

I bought the Epson Stylus 1400 when my previous Epson printer broke. But later found out the Claria ink is not good with transfers. So because it was pass return period i read a few people saying Durabrite ink is better for transfers and I have been using the same paper from Casi and Coastal for like ever. Well I purchased the Epson WF 7010 and although the printing look ok on the transfers the color changes real bad when pressed. I am using PS5 and i set it to let the printer choose the colors which look good but press bad. And I also let Photoshop choose the colors which printed honorably. So I need help myself. It is printing greenish.

You may have to play with your color settings if you use the OEM inks and decrease your Yellow saturation. Anyone have a % or slider setting they recommend for this?

You really do need to get a CIS or refillable cartridges at some point. Not only are there less problems with color shifting, but you will not make any profit buying Epson branded inks unless your prices are high.

What is posted on the HTFDTP website is to use (in the Epson print driver)

-15 Yellow
+5 Magenta
+5 Cyan

It tried it before on C88+ with Durabrites, it helps but doesn't completely resolve the shift.

100% agree on your 3rd party ink comment. Cobra, MIS Associates (inkjetsupply.com) and several others sell inks that solve this issue at a fraction of the price of Epson.

Does anyone know if this printer works for printing on transparencies? I bought the printer thinking it would but after reading the Epson website it says that it's not able to. However I've seen other people use a Epson Workforce 1100 for printing transparencies and the Epson website also says that model cannot print on them. I've never printed on transparencies and am new to screen printing. I basically just wanted a wide-format printer for printing transparencies for under $200. What was good about the 7510 is that it's also a scanner and can use WiFi. If anyone can help me it would be greatly appreciated.

If it's like the WF 1100 just print them on the print side of the Film. We use waterproof film and our WF 1100 prints on top. We just feed it in.

If we print a wide format piece of film we put the film in the back feeder, and lean it forward over the controls of the printer.

Hope this is helpful.

We added Pigment ink with a CISS from Hotzone360. Never tried printing films with the ink carts that came with it originally.

The only reason I can think that Epson says they don't work is the wheels that push the paper/film. In the WF1100 they only have one, so larger paper jams. That's when someone on this forum said to put the paper/film in the guide and lean it all the way forward over the controlls.

It worked and the rest is history.

I have one of these and use it to make transparencies all the time. The last batch of screens i made i experimented didnt double up. Just used a single transparancy. The screens burned perfectly. I havent bought a CIS yet because I wanted to test this first. Now after using it since April with no problems Im gonna go ahead and get one

The 7510 uses the same ink as my 7010 so is it something I am doing wrong with the setting in PS5? Because there is no Transparency setting like my old Epson had, I have tried using matte, regular paper, glossy. I am out of ideas. I know definitely not to let photoshop manage colors but to let the printer manage colors. Just don't like the color shift. Is there another program I should maybe be using? I am in school in graphic designs and all they teach is Adobe Products.

I bought this printer about a month ago and have been getting great results. It's 100% worth it to buy w/ the CIS installed. Obviously, before you print, make sure you have the Quality setting at Quality, rather than Normal. Other than that, I've had no real issues w/ it and the tech support people at Cobra are super helpful. Some of the images do come out a little dim on JPSS, is there anything I can do to brighten those up? But when I use my 3G Opaque paper, the colors are definitely brighter. All in all, this printer has 100% improved my business.

Shouldn't be dim, see my pictures above. What is your graphics app and your paper settings in the Epson driver? I use the plain paper setting, however, matte paper setting can be used.

I went back to my Epson Stylus 1400 because the color is coming out perfect. My red is looking red and not printing brownish. My people are the right color and not greenish. So all the talk about this 1400 printer seems to be wrong because it is giving me better printout than the new WF 7010. When I had an HP Inkjet 2200 or 2100 can't remember, it used to print shirts perfectly so when it broke on me all the research I did people was saying the 7510 was the printer to get so I replace my HP with with the Epson 7010 because it was the same only it wasn't a 3 in 1. But it don't give quality print outs.

The 1400 does have good color, however, it uses dye ink so it will for sure fade and bleed in the wash.

Have you done a soak test with Claria inks? Or extended numbers of washes, like say 25 full wash and dry cycles?

If you are not getting good color on a 4 color Epson then suggest your setup is wrong. Look at my photos ...

every 4 color Epson I have ever owned performs as well as the photo I posted. 6 colors really only make a bigger difference if you are printing hardcopy photos on special paper. Heat transfer paper cannot have the same gamut as special photo paper where 6 or 8 colors really "shine". I have a 4880 but it doesn't make enough of a difference with tshirts in terms of quality.
