In Corel Photo Paint it will be Adjust>Tone Curve and click and slide the graph curve.

 

I've been trying to do the same thing. Haven't had any luck.

it doesnt seem to be accomplishing the same thing as in bills video.

all that seems to be allowing me to do, is make the selected line and its background, lighter or darker. but not thicker.

I would just recreate that in vector. Would take all but about 5 mins tops and then you could easily edit and then export to jpeg or what ever.

try expanding your selections

 

that's what I tried doing at first. That's always my first step when someone give me a raster. But it was not coming out. It looked horrible as a vector.

I'm sure its because of my inexperience and not knowing the settings very well. I can usually trace to vector pretty quickly. But then it takes me hours to get it cleaned up.

this was a pretty detailed hand drawing, 4 of them actually and tracing was just not looking good at all.

Post a low res of the image in question. I was looking at the image in the video on the main screen in your post lol

 

Tracing software is a starting point yet 90% of the time it is just best to redraw using the tools in the app as auto trace rarely does a good job.
