Hey i need some help supppper fast,

I usually only print plastisol on t-shirts, totes, or other various garments, and i have a customer who wants a plastisol half tone image in Gold on glossy record sleeves, my problem is that my test prints are coming out really runny. does anybody have any ideas or techniques for printing gold onto glossy matte paper/board, it would seriously save my life..... hopefully by tonight!

thanks for any help!

i have no idea really, i asked them to do water based, but they specifically wanted metallic gold plastisol.

i dont know, but they need to get what they want. still i tried water based on the sleeves just as a test and it was still super runny even when i re-burnt the image onto a 230 mesh. i have no idea what is up or what to do.

You could try and heat up the sleeve a bit before printing to see if it will maybe start the curing process when the plastisol hits it. That could also have an adverse effect on your screens by plugging them up. Just an idea.

Just so I understand correctly, you are talking about a cardboard sleeve for a vinyl record album right?
