Yea I paid 4.22 per shirt for the pocket t. I usually double the price of the shirt and then add printing cost. I was at 12.60 a shirt. That just seems high though

 

We would be at $4 for printing only with $30 total in screens (1 front 1 back).

 

I would be at $8.31 for 71 of a G2300 with 2 screen/2 locations.

 

That's about the neighborhood I'm in.

Shirt +25%
Plus $6.50 screen expense each
Plus $.10 ink stroke per color/per shirt
Plus $60 hrly rate

 

$9.50. Pocket Tees are expensive.

 

My price was & 8.00 w/ pocket front & back S-Xl and $12.00 for 3XL w/pocket Jerzees 5.6 oz 50/50 heavyweight blend safety green 1 color front & 1 color back. that was for 53 shirts.

 

I have a flat $50 set up fee. That is for one screen, positives & all. I charge $12.50 for each additional screen after that.
I add 30% to the cost (including freight) of the shirts.
1 color on the back, less than 144 $4.00
If it is just a 1 color pocket screening, I charge $1, if it is full front, I charge $2 with a back print.

Breaks down to approximately $12 per shirt. (give or take a few pennies)

 

FYI- If you are competing for the job, I would quote the pocket price and the shirt without the pocket because it is a big difference. And I also upcharge to print on the pocket vs. opposite the pocket.

I usually try and talk them into no pocket to save the some $, and most the pockets are sewn on crooked anyway! Then if you don't print crooked, it doesn't look right.. .so the pocket forces you to print however it is sewn on... pocket tees are annoying.

 

you print on the pocket with a large palet??? I have a small pocket palet and screen just the pocket itself...

wow i always like qouting these jobs to make sure i am on par with everyone else, but this one is really odd. broderbros is giving me 3 or 4 different prices depending on what size they are s-m are one price, large is more, XL is less than all of them, and then of course 2x and 3x go through the roof... im not sure what thats all about?!?! never seen that with regular shirts before, maybe they are running a sale or something? either way when i qoute Jerzees 29P (s-10, m-10, l-11, xl-21, 2x-10, 3x-10) i am at $9.45 per shirt no matter what size. Or more comparably, $670.95 for a grand total
