I got the Epson F2000 printer, and many good things about that...the best is that I can print directly with Garment creator from Illustrator on my mac using the script/plug-in....that is fantastic!
But I am not so impressed with the colors, the are very pale with one strike. I have tried double strike but don't think it is great to print twice since the fabric easily moves a little when it get wet, and you can tell on thin lines
Also 2 strike maybe get to dark and darker colors just get very very dark and all colors get a lot of dark dither.
Black looks ok with one strike, but not when washed, so that needs two strike as well.
Also it seems like it can not print cold yellow or pink/magenta colors at all....I am surpassed since all my other Epson printers all have great color profiles.
Any advice, I am comparing to my old Texjet printer that used Ergosoft RIP.
I think it is very simple to use Garment Creator, and printing from Mac is great for me, but I am not sure how much adjustment can be done in the software, I would like to add more ink to single strike print.
If I have to use a RIP I will loose the simple way to print from my Mac, so I want to find a way to get this to work, and I don't want to test and adjust for each print, I want to be able to do it once so it works with all prints.
All suggestions welcome
