Bought the whole shower from Home Depot on line $65.00 32x32 economy shower stall just mounted my lights to the wall and pushed the shower up to it. Its thin enough to let light through. Works great

Heading back to show some pics of progress made me realize how long I have been putting off finishing this project. Anyhow, here they are. Thoughts?

Edit: I am in no way saying it is finished btw.

This looks great and the other one that was posted!!! My boyfriend has been feeling like the handy-man ever since we moved into our house and he got a garage for his tools. I'm wondering if he would be willing to make this (me buying the supplies and helping him of course). Do you think it could be made in one day if ALL the parts and tools were purchased? Possibly a 4-6 hour project?

I know I have to read Clark County waste management rules, but where is everyone putting the excess water?

If you had everything I'd imagine you could knock it out in that time frame. I've worked on mine on and off, but I could probably do it in 4-6 hours. Mine is just about done.

Most of my time was spent debating with myself about how to build it and the size. It was made as big as possible while still being able to get it out of my basement. If you had everything you needed and had it all planned out I think your timeframe is doable. Measure twice cut once. Or in my case measure 15 times cut once.
Also, the shower base, while smaller than my build would probably have less chance of leaking than my scratch built action.

That looks great! I'm wondering though, is it possible to have a smaller alternative? I'm not definite on the largest screen I'll need so I've got a bit of measuring to do. I also have little spare room in the garage (no direct access to water). Working in the backyard seems like the best idea since i have the hose right next to an area that would work great for the wash out booth, but summers are brutal and I don't know how that'll work for screens, emulsion, etc.

I have a lot of research to do before bringing this up to my b/f.
Thank you for your help!

I made a washout booth and it is great. FRP panels for the walls and caulk the corners. I did cut out a 6"x12" hole in the back wall, caulked and screwed a clear plastic to fill the hole and put a light behind the clear plastic. It is great for washing out exposited screens.

I was able to go to a local plumbing outfit that sells shower stalls. Back behind the building they had a slew of fiberglass shower enclosures that I could choose from. Didn't cost a dime. The frame I constructed was similar to the pics here. Works great and the price was definitely right.

I built this one...Works great
I made the 2 boards under my bucket removable and can unscrew it from the trap so I can clean it out when the bucket gets full I also used the decorative gril and 2 metal house screens I bought at Home dep to help in keeping ink out of my septic system.. cut the shower to 4' did it so I could use the soap and towel rack holes...making another bucket so I can swap them out quick...Used Coroplast for the roof of the shower....Oh also made a dip tank out of a roll around cooler works awesome...
Ok...am I seeing these pictures right? Yours and the one clutch made look like they don't connect to a drain...is it just going to only the bucket?...then you empty it when full?
Clutch, you have my kitchen garbage can under yours lol
I've been using my actual shower stall and breaking my back!
If this actually what's going on, where do you dump? Toilet or other?
Wow!!!
