I am looking at purchasing some used screen printing equipment and will be going to look at the set up tomorrow. (I'm new to screen printing) I know that the equipment is 1 year old and has been in storage for some of that time.
I will be purchasing a 6/6 press and a tunnel dryer.

Is there anything I should be looking out for on the press or dryer? Any specific areas for damage that may affect the usability etc?

All help is appreciated.
Thanks!

Press, upper and lower deck spin freely and easily. Make sure the decks do not wobble on the center shaft. Micros move freely. Registration gates or points are tight and not worn. All adjustments work freely. Screen holders are not bent up. The screen holders stay up with a screen in them. Pallets are not warped, delaminating, burnt. Pallets do not wiggle or move on the pallet arms. Also keep in mind does the press hold your size screens.

Dryer: belt not torn up or ripped. Sides of the belt are not frayed. Electrical, do you have the correct power to run it (3 or 1 phase, voltage).
Check for loose connections or burnt wires and at connections. Any hot spots in the dryer indicated by dis colored paint.

What kind of equipment is it? Brand, model? Maybe some pics?
