I wouldn't worry about it too much. If someone wants to copy your brand name, logo or design, they are going to do it whether you have the ™ symbol on your shirts or not. So aesthetically, it's best to leave it off. But it may be a good idea to use it on your website, marketing materials, labels, hang tags, etc.

Sending yourself the logo in the mail holds no value in the US, but it does hold value in the UK. So it's probably worth doing that in case you ever need to prove ownership or usage in court.

with a Registered name you can Trademark any logo you do after that and I feel it would be covered under your registered name since all you have to do is write down on a sheet I guess the date you came up with the logo.
This doesn't make sense. Just because you have one registered logo doesn't mean any other logo you create is automatically covered. Each logo needs to be registered separately for proper trademark protection.

have a look at the major league baseball logo. Some have a TM after it and some don't. The registered name is Major League Baseball and they use that logo under their registered name as a trade mark.
This doesn't make any sense either. Are you referring to the MLB batter logo? Or individual team logos?

The MLB batter logo is a registered trademark whether the ™ or ® symbol appears with it or not.

The individual team logos are different situations. Most, if not all, primary logos are federally registered as trademarks. Cap logos, which typically are just stylized letters, can be tricky to register. Some are federally registered, some aren't. But based on usage, teams and the league can still protect them. Whether the ™ or ® symbols appear with the logo is dependent on how it's being used.
