Why is the green Power light flashing and red Paper light on?

While printing, your paper ran out, ink ran out, or paper is jammed. You may also see a message on your screen.

Sheet Feeder or Manual Feed Slot: If paper is out, load more paper and press the paper button. If multiple sheets or the wrong size sheet fed, press the paper button to eject the paper, then turn your printer off and then on.

Roll Paper: See page 10 in your user's manual for instructions on loading or reloading roll paper.

Before start the video what happens? After the startup sequence (without platen on drawer) do you get stable green light ?

you dont have your pe sensor properly set up.. its location/ distance to the platen depends on which mode your running in aswell..

I reccomend running the 1900 in roll mode because it finds its own registration via platen edge and pw sensor preprint.. this is extremely beneficial when printing white ink or two pass of the same image...

looks like its based off the T-Dozer plan.. so either read in regards to this in the mission acomplished thread or someone there will help you... nice job by the way... another one coming to life!!!

 

Yes, it is very much base on the T-Dozer plans and I could not have done it without all of your help this far. I tried to follow you and Feclark with all the others on the threads concerning the DTG R1900 . thank you all. I will do as you suggest.

I will try to post a video showing the PE sensor at work. I put the Epson printer software in Manual-Roll, Super B 13x19, Borderless. I do not know how to work the EK Rip Demo. I do not think that I followed the CLUE BOOK PE sensor right. (MOUNTED ON A ADJUSTABLE SLIDE. I don't believe that I understand. Thanks.

which soft did you use to print and which kind of paper did you choise if it's with epson driver ?, should be the problem.

with the pinter the pe switch need to be touch before the Asf wheel makes one complete spin

 

So the Platen needs to touch the PE when the printer is torn on and pressed down wail the Platen box moves. is that right. Thanks.

that i lurn is when the PE move the signal say to the rpinter ther is paper


when you power On or OFF the printer the pe mechanism need to stay in place ( like there is not paper)

the bed print move around 24 cm during the powering ON

but when you send print job , your asf turn to send the paper and the Pe need to be touch before the end of asf spin.

if not you will have paper error

I’ve been a painter for sometime and worked as a Textile Artist in the Home-furnishing field. So, when I decide to make posters of my work I got me a HP designjet 500ps on Ebay . Now I wont to print T-sherts of my new work and thats when I stumble into this sit (T-shirtforum) And WOW. I Blindly dove into the possibly of tinkering on a DIYDTG.
That excited me. It did not however excite my girl who side that I know nothing about printers. And she is right. But I tall her this Forum is Teaching me.

is it something like taht: erase all your print job power turn off the printer a back on

try to unplug the PE sensor is it turn of and is it the same?


if yes i think you need to changed the main board.

 

i checked the 1400 maintnance,
this kind of error is fatal error, the problem should your wiring if not, or some thing around the realy board APG ASF ...

 

please help my r1900 moves a little then 2yellow flashing lights general error really frustrated put shaft and sensor back into printer noticed blue match marks tried to align and nothing help

 

make a pictures or video about your printer to see how did you bulit it.
