haha i be getting my shaka'z for $6 each and my pro clubs for $5...IF YOUR OUT HERE in Sd stop by Fam Mart...and yeah if you buy a crap load they'll give u a lower price...I perfer shaka than proclub...it doesnt attract lint like proclub does..gotta stay fresh!!

I grew up in LA. Come back to visit family. I grew up wearing Penny's tight neck heavy T's, but have not seen any for many years. After searching over the years every time I come down here with no luck, someone pointed me to swap meets.

Found Shaka and Pro 5 club the best and only worth considering. After examining both thoroughly, it appears to me that Shaka is slightly brighter white than Pro 5. Examine both side by side in various lights and see the little difference. For me, I like them as bright as possible and it is the deciding factor. Both are great and Pro has more choices of colors as has been mentioned.

For all you young guys, these type of T's are not new. We wore something very similar made by towncraft (pennies) in the 60's. Levis, good T's, pendletons and black sandals were it.

I am in the process of giving Shaka a try. Their v-neck design seems to be more stylish at this time than Pro Club's. In addition, I am not happy at all with the level of customer service I've received in the past from Pro Club. I've had three orders filled by Pro Club and not once over the course of 6 mos. have I ever been able to reach someone by phone. In addition, most of my emails tend to go unreplied. Pro Club has good quality but their service is absolutely lacking. Sometimes I've wondered if they were going out of business but hadn't announced it.

BTW, I do prefer Pro Club because their made in the US. Not sure about Shaka.

you can probably find them at your local t-shirt wholesale shop, thats where I get mine from. They usually carry both Pro- Club and Shaka Wear ... usually pro club is 3 for $10.. where Shaka Wear are 2 for$10
