I have the same issue today 6/14/24 and updated Windows 10 yesterday and no new updates are available. Click the cut button and the machine winds up but no program running.

Try uninstalling the update, not update the latest one.

I didn’t quit get it. What do you suggest me to try doing?

1. Uninstall the update.

2. Turn off automatic updated on your computer and

3. When you get a notification that an update is available for install, ignore it until Roland tells you the issue has been resolved as of update XXXXX.

I am still having issues. Every new Windows update that is auto updated, I’m having to back out of it for my cutter to work. Beyond frustrating.

Turn off auto updates.

Yes, I did that when it 1st happened but it only allows for me to turn off for 30 days. Once that time period is up, goes right back to auto updates.

Then do it every 29 days until Roland or Microsoft figures out a solution.

I will never again buy a Roland Plotter after dealing with this. I used to have a cheap Plotter from China and never had issues until I wore the plotter out. Roland wont even support it because I have had it 3 years. Roland Sucks for not solving this since June!

If you're going to be pissed at someone, be pissed at Microsoft. Every update may solve some unknown mysterious issue, but always causes new issues for the end user.
