Printing on underbase issues

This is my first attempt printng a two color image. I printed a white underbase that came out fine. Good clean edges and flashed until the surface isn't tacky (about 250 degrees). But when I do the 2nd color I can't get sharp edges and looks fuzzy on the edges. Every one looks about the same with some better than others. I'm using a 156 screen with a 70 duro squeege. The ink is plastisol. I've played with my off-contact and squeege angle and different flooding techniques but with no difference. Is this the same as fibrillation? Anybody have any ideas? The photo shows the best one, but the rest are varying degrees of bad.

Possibly too low... depending on the ink viscosity.
Try doing it without a flood stroke and a 30 degree push print stroke.
Also reduce the off-contact.

Once you get a bad one you have to clean the the screen with a paper towel.

If you are manually printing I would suggest to skip flooding the screen with ink first, keep the squeegee higher in angle and pull only once until you can get the image quality good with one or two passes at most. I've yet to see an amazing print using the push technique. Try less pressure at first and gradually increase pressure until you clear the screen and the print is to your liking.
