Printing immediately after design is sent without pushing green button

Tonight..my Anajet SPRINT started printing immediately after "Print Ready" light comes on WITHOUT my pushing of the button. Also noticed when printer is OFF, I cannot lower raise the printhead with keypad to clean maintenance station.

Sound like a malfunctioning electronic board at the keypad?

I have had that happen on sprints and FP 125's. If you need to release the print head to clean the wiper and docking station you can release it by removing the first black cartridge and turning the release mechanism in the back of the ink slot, it's a white plastic Phillips head screw inside a little round hole all the way in the back.
If the problem persists it is most likely an issue with the keypad assembly.

Yes, I researched the manual release of the print head. Thanks... Guess I'm more concerned with the auto engaging of the printing table. Checked wiring... Seemed ok... Little dusty.. But everything seemed connected ok.

Release the print head and slide it all the way over and then turn the printer on. This may reset everything when the printer starts. If not a new keypad may
be in order
