Hello everyone,
My name is Tiffany and I am a first timer here. I bought the Francierstudio 15x15 heat press, figured this would be a great starter. I did not receive instruction with this item as I have bought on Amazon and I am starting to wonder if I already read my answer somewhere else. But I am going to ask anyways as this whole experience has made me absolutely dizzy trying to read and search for answers.
When I press at 255 degree 90 sec forever soft a & b sheets, I am getting a circular area in the center as if the top plate is warped. Everything else is coming out perfectly. This is pressing medium (as far as I am able to figure that out without it being a digital setting). I have managed to get a couple perfect presses, but with the aid of rigging, using a thick hard type of cardboard that I had cut down 15x15 and then a smaller square board under that one in the center. It really helped but it didn't last. With great cringe I have also tested it with high pressure, still the same circle.
I'm feeling with all of the reading I have done, that the missing directions for the heat press was baking, since it was out of the box? Or do you think it was just manufactured incorrectly? Hopefully it is a simple me issue that can be fixed
.
If I have to invest in another machine, I would love to buy one that presses evenly throughout. Any recommendations?
Thank you so much in advance for your help!
