Is there a Rip Program that can do Sublimation, Simulated and CMYK or would I have to have more than just one?

I'm using a Epson 7600 Photographic Dye. I was also under the impression that you have to have a rip program to print on shirts. We use a rip program for simulated for half tones so we thought would have to have one for sublimation also seeing it is going on a garment. We also use Photoshop for our photo realistic, we have Corel Draw but Photoshop will also spot color so we mainly use it.

You need pigment ink to print on shirts (not dye). You can print on shirts with pigment ink using transfer paper. Sublimation is the same process (print on paper then press on shirt) but it requires special paper and ink - usually a dedicated printer. But you don't need rip software for sublimation or transfer printing on shirts.

Sorry Loretta I should have specified the ink being used I just gave the name that was on the printer. We are rebuilding it for sublimation printing using sublimation ink and shirts. We are doing all over prints as our goal. Thank you for your response I can see where I was being misleading with not speicifing the correct type of ink being used.

I was just going to suggest what Red did--usually if you're looking for a RIP for sublimation, or other full-color output, you're doing so mostly for color correction, and possibly integrating cutting. I can't say I know a whole lot about what's offered in that arena today, but I do know that Wasatch makes a softrip SP for screen, and Softrip for color--but I don't know if that's the same package, or if you have to buy two editions. I bet PositiveDave does. :)
