I am new to this and have tried a few ways of curing plastisol ink on koozies. when i do this the koozie itself will start to melt and bow up in the middle.

what are you all doing to cure the ink so the koozie stays nice?

When I realized How easy it is to get perfect images heat pressing cozies, I stopped offering screenprinted ones. Vinyl really POPS in comparison. Digital on 3G allows unlimited detail and color. They can be dye subbed If you have a sub printer.:)

Have you ever thought about farming it out? If a customer orders at least 250 we just farm them out to someone who specializes in promotional products. They can usually print them cheaper than we can anyway. Then just mark it up a little bit. The customer doesn't need to know you didn't print them in house. Customer is happy, we are happy because we made money with very little effort, everyone is happy.

I agree with APlus Designs; the company we use will provide much lower quantities. Sometimes we do them ourselves, and have gone to either sublimation, print and sew (so you are printing and curing flat pieces, then sewing them up yourself), or we have a dozen pieces of cardboard cut to the size of the koozie that we spray lightly with adhesive and insert into the koozies before printing. Leave them in as you run them through your curing unit (at a higher speed, as others have pointed out -- these will not be getting washed often, if ever). Pull the cardboard out after they are cured (this is where the recommendation of a LIGHT spray of adhesive comes into play).
