Black ink bleeds on t-shirt transfer [help]

Hi,
I have started printing on 100% cotton black and white gildan t-shirts. I am using the epson XP 15000 with official ink. Also, I am using A3 heat transfer paper brought on ebay:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/A3-A4-Tr...sfer-Press-Inkjet-Cold-Peel/283919350470?hash=item421ae97ac6:g:pnUAAOSwt51azeaE

I am certain the transfer itself is performed perfectly, however the black ink on the transfer bleeds heavily. The other ink colours do not bleed after washing, however the black ink does not stick to the transfer and bleeds onto the white t-shirt (after a cold wash) ruining the t-shirt.
The black ink starts to bleed as soon as it touches water.

I would love to know if anyone else has come across and overcome this issue.
Is it possible the transfer paper is faulty and a replacement is necessary (frustrating after spending ÂŁ100 on 100 sheets!) ?
Could the printer be faulty and be printing far too much black ink on the transfer paper?
Could the black dye ink used in the XP 15000 be a different and unusable ink type?

If the solution is not apparent, is it alternatively possible to print a multicoloured print without using any black ink (since it is ONLY the black ink which bleeds)? Maybe the epson printer can use a composite black instead of the black cartridge?

Please let me know if you have had a similar problem. Thanks so much.

That is the correct printer.

May I ask why it is only the black ink which is bleeding if they are all dye inks?
I have invested heavily in a printer and will struggle to sell it. Are you certain heat transfers cannot be used with dye ink from inkjet printers? I have read from several sources it is possible.

The only way to use dye inks is with a sublimation printer because it uses a special transfer that holds the ink for dye based of that type . I run my own vinyl group on facebook and know what im talking about when it comes to this and many other areas. I have a high recommendation from many people in it as well for my knowledge.

For my shirts i use all pigment inks and print on jpss clear and i have over 50 washes on my shirts as of today and they still look like the first day i printed on them, I can apply to 100% cotton,100% poly and blends, For dark shirts they sell a 3g jet opaque ., i buy my transfers from world-paper.

Dye inks are water based and one thing that cause bleeding is that your not pressing the shirt for about 3-4 secs to remove moisture out of the shirt before applying your design. I ahve never had bleeding issues on any shirt. It also can be the brand of transfer your using . If your using a clear transfer ,you want to leave a 1/8'' border around the image .. Feel free to pm me and we can connect up to help you better personally and if interested in getting in my group. You will be impressed on it im sure.
