Viper XPT-6000 clogged sprayers

Hey Guys,

We have a Viper XPT-6000 pretreat machine and it hasn't been in constant use for the past month and a half (alot of short runs). The issue I'm running into is the first 4 jets not spraying full streams, but the 5/6 jets are perfectly fine. I cleaned with Anti Venim, soaked the heads and it still refuses to give full streams. I did notice there are large bubbles in the 1-4 lines but wasn't sure if this is the issue? Any feedback would be appreciated, or if someone happens to have their direct phone number (only available contact is a form on their site).

Call 877-673-4378 and ask for tech support.

In the past couple of weeks we have developed large air bubbles in all the lines. Called tech support and was told the lines that connect to the spray tips might not be seated well. They also said that the machine should still run fine and it does seems to be working okay. I would just feel more comfortable if I can get the bubbles removed permanently.

What DTG inks are you using, is it Dupont? I believe the Dupont pretreat is much more caustic than the Brothers and therefore shortens the life the of spray tips. One solution I was told was to mix distilled water and pretreat 50/50. We've experimented but could never get the the right combination to match using 100% pretreat.

I've had my original tip last about 7 months before replacing all the heads. We scrub the heads at the beginning and end of each working day, soak the tips in venom solution every night. We are very meticulous with regards to maintenance. This is very important.

Thanks for the number, I ended up calling the company we bought it from and they forwarded my number to Viper. We scrub the tips after and before every use, the issue ended up being in the solenoids.

Doug from Viper sent some pdf disassembly instructions for them and I'm in the process of doing a full clean. He did mention the DuPont pretreat tends to leave a film in the lines and it can eventually create deposits in the connectors.

I just want to add my 2 cents here, so no one else gets mis-informed from reading this thread.

I am intimately aware of the chemistry involved in the various pre-treatments AND the Viper Anti-Venom maintenance solution.

Without giving a chemistry lesson......
Mixing distilled water with pretreatment and using it as a 'cleaning solution" to remove pretreatment residue, ABSOLUTELY WILL NOT WORK... it will do nothing to the polymer particulate that is produced, nor will it dissolve it's dried residue.

Anti-Venom Maintenance Solution is the ONLY 'manufacturer approved' cleaning solution that will actually break down and dissolve the pretreatment residue WITHOUT DAMAGING THE COMPONENTS of the Viper.

Further.... "I" recommend to all my DTG customers, to use Anti-Venom in ALL pretreatment sprayers to effectively dissolve the tip clogging particulate. Weather it's another manufacturer's automatic pretreat machine, or a Wagner power sprayer.

On top of all that... the Anti-Venom is "environmentally friendly". These days it's rare to find something that works so well AND is a 'Green' product.

Hello!

Would you please help me! I live in Belarus and it is real problem to order Anti-venom from foreign countries except for Russia and Belorussia itself. Could you please advice me where in Russia or Belorussia I can buy anti-venom. Are there any official dealers who sell anti-venom. It is very important for me. Please help me!
