Hi!

I am considering purchasing a second hand DTG Kiosk 3, 3 year old. in pretty good shape. What should be a fair price for such a machine. It is currently for sale at 6000.00

What is your opinion?

Yours,

Marc

Way overpriced IMO. Does that price include the RIP? Still overpriced if it does.

Basically No warranty and it is not a state-of-the-art machine. Maybe a good deal at $3K with all new disposable parts (print head, ribbon cables, encoder strip, capping station, wiper, spare main board, spare disposable parts)

I have a K2 for the last 6 years and know it inside and out. I stand by what I said. They are not money makers and not worth more than a few grand, if that.

I wouldn't expect a 50% return on a used DTG brand printer. They just are not worth it. The parts are getting harder to find and are more expensive. Our K2 printheads have gone from $220 to over $500 AND I have to take it in to have it replaced so I have to pay for that as well.

For the price of a DTG (any brand) printer you can get a pretty nice screen print setup and make a lot more money with far less hassle.

I give up Binki your just not living in the real world! , spend ÂŁ12k and after 2-3 yrs get less than half 5/6k?? Ridiculous we might as well all take up gardening ,the K2 is a lot older than the K3 and had major problems from the start the K3 is a much more reliable purchase if its looked after properly and parts are readily available inc the superior Dx5 heads ;)
