Default Best Waterbased Ink in the UK?

About to start screen printing and have my shopping list bulging. I have decided I want to try using Waterbased inks over Plastisol but wondering what are the best inks in the UK.

So far I have found Amex which claim to be super vibrant and Apollo which have a wide array of colours.

Any recommendations greatly appreciated.

Default Re: Best Waterbased Ink in the UK?

I imagine you can get Permaset there. It is made in Australia. I'm in the USA and have no trouble getting it.

I use mostly their SuperCover line of opaque inks, as I print mostly on black garments and this saves the need to underbase. The key to happiness is making sure you add a bit of water after use to ensure that you 100% make up for moisture loss while on press. Else it becomes very hard to work with. If a large blob of ink doesn't fairly easily slide off a palette knife, then the ink is too dry.

I also use their regular opacity black ink. It is a touch thicker, and thus much easier to control on press than typical black water base inks which tend to run around when you tilt the screen up.
