Hi Brits,
Anyone know where I can get some good, cheap hoodies, where they are willing to send out samples?

I had a similar experience with BBLeisurewear, I kept getting calls from them asking if I wanted samples, when I did want some I contacted them to be told I needed to email the order and they would call me back! I emailed and received an email back asking for more info, I did this and never heard back from them despite more emails. Now I'm recieving marketing emails from them!!

Now, as you all know from this industry a size Large can mean anything! And colours on computer screens don't really represent 'True Colour'.
There is no way that I am going to be stocking my shop with hoodies for the winter, not knowing true sizes & colours.
I think that is now the shortest relationship I have yet had with a supplier

Hi Phil,

We've ordered some of our t-shirts from them until now. They're 'ok' although a few of them have pen marks on them or even small cuts (you can return them and they;ll exchange them - we live very close to them so it's easy for us)
Anyway, yeah, they don't like doing sample order... a bit stupid in my opinion as they're losing more business than gaining them doing this.
Their hoodies are 'ok/good' quality, nothing fancy you would expect for this price. One issue i have with them is the sleeves size... to short. Also i am a size S in t-shirt but i need a size M with their hoodie. Specially because it seems they shrink a little after the first wash.

Regards,

Remi

Thanks Remi,
I'm now glad they refused to send my samples!
I think we will now stick to using Gildan hoodies from our usual supplier, we know these are of good quality and consistant sizing

Thought I best mention this here
I started a new thread here in the U.K section as I am looking for some cheap white tees.
Draig (Sharon) pointed me to these people:Absolute Apparel & I had never heard of them
I have now been in contact with them and they are sending me a catalogue & price list.
Looks like they stock Gildan, Fruit Of The Loom & Stedman.
Prices appear good too

You can find real cheap fruit of the loom tees at www.amazon.co.uk. No minimum!
Delivery is a bit slow though.

Hi guys,
Just lookin at the prices you are payin for the gildan 5000 t's and i have to say that for quantitys below 100, elms and elms are still cheaper. I use them all the time for shirts and they are great.
Current price is 1-05 for white and 1-43 for colours + vat altho' personally i prefer the gildan 2000 t's as they are heavier and my customers like them.
