Sublimation T-Shirts

Good afternoon all,
I have been sublimating for about 18 months now and sales are about as good as I could have hoped for.

I have always opted for quality and settles on the xpres t-shirts because although they are polyester they feel like cotton and they are of a good weight/thickness.
I recently tried the new Gildan Sublimation T-Shirts and found they were very very thin so decided against using them

Now I pay 3.25-3.50 per shirt with xpres and the Guildan shirts were much much cheaper.
Does anyone know of a better quality shirt than the Gildan one but cheaper than the xpres one?

Many thanks
Stuart

I just thought I'd bump this message.

Does anyone else know of any quality sublimation t-shirts (blanks)?

I've had pretty good luck with Jerzees 21m and 29m. They are 100% poly but they feel close to cotton. Hope this helps.

Are the Xpress T-shirts the same as AWD Sublimation T-shirts?
They feel and press the same

I also would be interested in people's opinion in the quality of sublimation t-shirts. I have tried a few Xpres, Vapor, Gildan 4200 and Gildan sublitmation tees.

The Gildan sublimation tees that I just used for a stag night order, I have decided I will not buy again. They are slightly heavier than the Gildan 4200 but still too thin.
The Xpres and Vapor are a nice weight, though more expensive.

So really I'm looking for a weight similar to Xpres and Vapor but not so costly.

Cheers
Kath

I don't sublimate my self but saw the Russell Men's HD T-Shirt at the trade show, have any of you tried this shirt? Looked a good shirt. Although not 100% polyester. 65 - 35 mix.

I use btc-activewear as my supplier and they've suggested a few polyester tees for sublimation, some are cotton/poly blends. They'll send you samples to test. Really good value IMO. I used to use ralawise and absolute apparel - never again.

Re: Sublimation T-Shirts

Here is the my experience about sublimation t shirts so far (i print all over printed)

1- Gildan Sublimation T-Shirt: Very good for price. But when you all over print on it too many creases around neck and shoulders.

2- SOL'S Unisex Sublimation T-Shirt: Good price again but material looks so thin, less creases then Gildan.

3- Russel: Garment is Amazing 65% Polyester 35% Ringspun Combed Cotton. But when you print colours are not vibrant as much as 100 % polyester t-shirts. Less creases. But sizing is terrible. Sizes are extremely tight.

4- AWD: For now we are using their JS001 which is fine. Happy about it. Sizing is good and less creases. Never tried JS101.

5- American Apparel PL401; We pint on them too. Best sublimation t shirt ever. Especially under the armpits result is better.

That is it for now :) Hope it helps.

Re: Sublimation T-Shirts

Hey guys, I am new to sublimation t-shirts.
I read all your comments but would like to know where can I find a company which would sublimate for me but on a loose fit, thick, closed round neck male t-shirt. I need an all over print. Also I am interested in embroidering the brands' name.
Thanks in advance for your help!
