Hey guys, I'm just wanting know peoples success/failures creating their own brand/line of tee's. I'm starting up my own label on my own, I've got the money to back it and am a talented graphic designer and very into fashion.

I just want to hear what peoples experiences have been starting their own up, how many have you sold, have you made money, did you lose money? etc.

Please share it guys and girls, thanks!

I've had great success with creating my own brand! I didn't know anything about fashion or t-shirts when I started, but I learned a lot along the way. I've been in business for about 3.5 years now and I am loving it. I'm selling shirts both wholesale and retail and my business has been profitable since I started it.

Good luck!

marketing and Exposure of your product is it. Once you get the word of mouth out about how dope your shirts are is when you can see some sales. Most of the people that wear my shirts are people I know already and people in the art game. So I'd say start out small and see how the people around you like it without investing too much money. Then if your selling to friends, etc. you can use some of that money to pursue it larger.
