As this model has been discontinued should I wait for the P900 to become available?

I have a brand new P800 I could use with say a UFO base (assuming I could get it up and running!). I was saving it to donate parts to my current DTG printer which is a P800 conversion, out of warranty, so I support it myself.

If I did go down the UFO base route and used my spare P800 how would I go about finding supporting it with printheads, capping stations and other consumables and spare parts? I'm in the UK and can't find any more P800s available.

Parts for the P800 will still be available from Epson distributors for a few more years.
Capping stations and most other parts are cheap to buy, but the "easy to find print head" advantage is now gone.
DTG conversions will probably transition to the P900 soon.

That's what I was thinking. As it'll be the new year before I'll have time to make any conversion, I may as well wait a bit longer and hold out for a P900 which should be easier to support for a few years.
