Is this model discontinued?I can't seem to find it anywhere. Any substitutes for this printer that any of you work with and can give a guarantee it will work good for transfers.

Yes it has been discontinued.

I think it was the 7010 or 7510 that replaced it, not sure about that though.

Yes, I have one. This was replaced with the 7010 which is now also discontinued. The closet pigment based 4 color printers are the 7510 and 7520. These are just 7010's with scanners and other advanced features.
