Wix vs Weebly vs Squarespace

Anyone have preferences? I've used wix. Templates are great but everything else seems to be lacking. Weebly is cheap. Squarespace is expensive but offers one year at half off for students.

From research and hands-on experience, I would suggest using Weebly. It has a low cost, is very easy to use, versatile, and has solid marketing structure so you aren’t fighting the website and google for SEO results. Below is my breakdown for each in more depth. I wasn’t sure what you’re main concerns so I covered the main concerns including a bit of marketing and technology for today.

Wix
Pros
- Has free version
- Very easy to use
- Great for online stores
- Have generous free offerings
- Have templates
- Has mobile preview
- Gives you control over mobile design

Cons
- Has one of the highest uptimes
- Has a fast load speed
- Has an okay SEO setup but not the best
- Doesn’t have built-in Stats/Analytics
- Free plan includes ads which can look spammy on your site so you will need to upgrade

Weebly
Pros
- Has free version
- Easy use to but ranked as Average compared to Wix
- Good on the SEO front
- Lowest cost
- Great for online stores
- Have generous free offerings
- Have templates
- Has built in Stats/Analytics

Cons
- Has a high uptime (not as high as Wix)
- Has a fast load speed (faster than Wix)
- Has a built-in mobile responsive design but you can’t change how it looks
- Free plan includes ads which can look spammy on your site so you will need to upgrade

Squarespace
Pros
- Great for online stores
- Easy use to but ranked as Average compared to Wix
- Has built in Stats/Analytics
- Good on the SEO front

Cons
- Has good up time but not the best uptimes
- Has one of the higher load speeds
- No free version
- Limited third-party integrations
- Higher cost

Another you might want to consider is SiteBuilder
Pros
- Very easy to use
- Has a low price (lower than any of the three listed above)
- Has very good uptime and speed
- No separate fee for website hosting
- Many web templates
- Great for online stores
- Can link to PayPal
- Have a free version

Cons
- Free plan includes ads which can look spammy on your site so you will need to upgrade
