Wish print-company and what kind of blanks? HELP

Hey!

I`m going to start up a clothing firm, I`m gonna hire pro designers to do the artwork on the t-shirts and hoodies.

Can someone experienced here give me some advice on wish print-company I should talk to? I need someone that print`s "all-over prints".

I talked to a firm and they gave me a price on 13 USD for each t-shirts (144 t-shirts), and that was if I didn`t have print in the armpit area. Does anyone know some that can do all-over print and less than 13 USD per t-shirt? I can`t print that many examples on the first designs because I don`t have so much money to start with.

And one more thing, any advice one someone that has cheap and nice blanks? American Apparel maybe?

Hope someone here can help a new-beginner :D

Sorry to say, if you don't have the capital to pay for a fancy all over print, you should concentrate on something more standard. There is a reason why all over prints have a minimum, and that is due to time, money, and effort the printer has to take for them to accomplish an all over print for such a small run.

Perhaps alter your design to just be an "oversized" print that will print large on your shirts instead an actual all over print.

Yeah, oversized is the right word. How big can that be? BTW, do you know any print companies?
'All over printing' is expensive, and the minimums are high. There is no way around it, and if you can find someone to print 144 you should expect them to be high as that is a pretty low minimum. The price would come down significantly if you ordered 500, 1000, 5000.

Oversize prints are still pretty darn large, and likewise, they may be more expensive too.

Sun Apparel, (Hayward - 510.576.1600) located in Fullerton and Hayward, Ca, and Honolulu is a SPECTACULAR alternative to American Apparel. Less expensive, great quality, and some top notch hands on family style customer service, which you need from your vendor to offer the same to your customer, successfully...
