I am in the market for a new laptop, looking at some of the slick new 2 in 1 tablets, but most of them all have the new USB C ports instead of the old style. I literally wore out the ports on my old laptop always plugging / unplugging my cutter, Graphtec CE-6000.

I see I could get a usb c - usb 2 adapter or a usb c - usb 2 printer (port on graphtec) but am thinking it wold be slick to be able to use it wirelessly.

Anybody have their cutter running wirelessly?

I would recommend a cable to a pc...then you can share it from the pc and use it "wireless" from whatever you want on your network.

Straight wireless you may have issues with data getting to the plotter fast enough to keep it from stopping and waiting for more data.
