Mine does that once and awhile. I haven't found the actual issue, but you don't have to keep changing it. If the one you have isn't old you can snap it out and back and it usually clears.



Makes sure someone didn't bend the metal tab that pushes back on the sensor button.

Robert, you will want to make sure when placing the wiper cleaner back into the printer, the sensor tab is being press full in on the side. Also if you have ink or overspray on it, the sensor may be getting stuck and giving a false reading. You will want to clean it with denatured alcohol and a lint free wipe.
