I have installed my Winpcsign 2010 and got my Graphtec 5000-60 to cut. Problem is when I ask for 1/2" high letters, I get 1-7/8" high letters. Everything looks ok in my transform box. What am I doing wrong??

Hello, I’m new here but maybe I can help with this one.

I use the same program for all our basic design work.
I have found that anytime I add text I have to resize it. You can do this simply enough by selecting the text and then resize it by dragging the corner of the box or by using the “transform” tool bar. I’m not sure why this is, but it works for me.

Maybe someone more knowledgeable will let us both know how to avoid this extra work.

Thanks ckeefer but I'm not worried about the text part. I use AI or Coral for most of my vinyl work. I need the Winpcsign for rhinestone templates. If it can't cut the size that I design it to then I wont get the right size holes. I'm at my wit's end with this one. Just have to wait until tomorrow and call tech support I guess.

I make rhinestone templates for my wife, so I understand about the holes being the wrong size.
Where are you telling the program what size you want?
I just thought about it, but have you watched the videos on there website? They are found under the “Support” tab. The answer you seek may be found there.

Thanks all. I'm designing in winpcsign but when I sent it to my cutter, it cuts larger than my design. If I print out my design on my printer, it is the right size so I'm thinking that it's something in my cutter setup. I should not have to reduce it to cut it. It should cut whatever size I make it in winpcsign. This would raise hell with my stone size if I did this.
