will this digitise easy

This is not very difficult for someone with experience. You are new to digitizing but you have to start somewhere. If you have the time, I would give it a try. If you have a time restraint then send it out.
Can you ask the customer for better artwork?

If you give it a try you will need to watch your pull comp & pathing. This sample was sewn on a stable material. If you are sewing on a pique polo the lettering will need special attention.

I would start
red centre part of shield
do upper navy section
use a running stitch along edge of red to travel from upper to lower navy
do lower navy section
then navy shield outline,
then do keys & fish.
do text.
Done.
