Will shrinkage of t-shirt affect silk-screened printed design? If yes, how to avoid this happen? I am importing a t-shirt that will likely shrink up to 1" at chest line after 2nd wash and have heard that if the tee shrinks, the silk-screen printed design may be distorted. Can someone advise me how true can this happen and how can I avoid this? Appreciate you can help. joan

depending on what inks you use it may change your image but not likely. I have had some shirts shrink a lot and all that happened was that the shirt had a very slight ripple at the edge of the design, that was with thick plastisol inks, with waterbased i havent seen any change. But thats just from my very limited usage.
