Hi-

So my DTG HM1 is on its way, and in the mean time my boyfriend has designed himself a shirt.. however, we're unsure if it'll print the way we have it. (we realize that we'll need to re do it cuz of the resolution) but will it print with the gradients and what not? Like the blue around the "Crouch" or is that something we'll have to tone down?

Thanks,
Stephanie

If you use softproofing in Adobe, Inkscape, Corel, GIMP or whatever, you will be able to see, that you can not get get the bright blue colors out as expected on any CMYK device.

The most intense bright blue is neon like, and don't expect it to come out perfect even with spot colors.

If you have an ICC profile for your printer/inkset/media, it can be used for softproofing in any of the mentioned programs. If you have an ink profile and dot gain curves, Photoshop (or Illustrator?) can convert it to ICC profile.
