Wich one is preferred to dtg T1410 or R 2000

I'm going to buy a printer to build a dtg. I've reading a lot of threads at the forum , but I still have a doubt, here in Brasil we have a T1410 and the R2000 options to A3 size and white ink, which one is better? Which is easier to make?
The T1410 is about US$ 900 and the R 2000 US$ 620.( both new ones).

Here in the states it is 1400 and r2000, the 2000 is a much better printer due to the dx5 head and the 8 channels.. they are the same as far as conversion to dtg.. im not sure we are talking about the same printers as you have the 1400 costing more than the better r2000!! the ultimate printer IMHO is the epson 2880 (which is more expensive) also with the 8 channel dx5 head,it has a reset all to full ratf chip and produces better prints IMHO (i have built all the epson desktop models for my personal use starting late 2009 and have a good amount of knowlege regarding the desktops).. the 2000 also has a different reset chip for the inks you reset each chip/per cart last i checked and this is time consuming and frequent when printing in any qaunity... search around and get other opinions.. I would start with a cheap printer and once your successful and have an understanding of the build go to the best model.. the reason i say this is there are frequent acidents that can destroy the printer/electronics when just learning or starting out on your build/

OK Jeff you are right , the R2000 is more expensive in a regular store but it's available in a kind of duty free store at the border from Brasil and Paraguay so you can buy it without taxes ( if lucky) so this is the reason its cheaper than 1410. It isn't easy to find used epson printers here in Brazil. we have the multipurpose ( i think this is the term to describe it ) and the models T25 t42wd an Stylus Photo T 50.
do you think its better to buy a simpler one (t 25 or t50) and after build a r 2000 instead of the 1410?
One more doubt the CIS is different for textil ink or the regular ones for epson printers used to sublimtic or pigmented ink can be used?

Im not really familiar how the epson printers are relabeled for each country.. here a very cheap printer is the c88 and this is good to practice on to understand the concept, however it does not make a good dtg being a small format etc... As far as ciss systems i would purchase an existing bag ink ciss from one of the commercial dtg company,s like belquette for example.. the nice thing about these bulk ink systems is they have bigger supply lines meant for dtg printing/printers

I found a t25 ( model number C11CA83221) it has four cartridges is it possible to build from that? im going t buy it right now to begin building....I 'm planning to use the directions from the "made my own dtg ..... thread in this forum...
What do you think about it?
