Hello!

I have had this problem happen before. I spent a LONG TIME on the phone with Conde to fix it and I forgot what I did. I called Conde and they said it is because my ink is expired. When this happened b4 my ink wasn't expired. My blues are also printing gray. Is it really because my ink expired 8 months ago or is it something else? I am printing on koozies. I am using RGB #'s 0 255 239.

Thanks!

There is typically 3 reasons this could happen. Color management settings, clogged nozzle or expired ink. If you have already checked the settings and verified you do not have a clog, expired ink is the most likely cause. When ink is past its expiration the particles start to fall out of suspension and it can shift your color. Sometimes it is minimal, sometimes it is dramatic. Regardless I would not recommend you continue using ink that is 8 months past the expiration date.

I agree with Kyle,

1. First do a nozzle check, if that is okay but problem persists....

2. Then get new ink, if still having a problem

3. Check your setting. If you bought the printer from Conde they will remote in and check them for you.

4. If that doesn't solve the problem then you need to check your settings in what ever graphics program you are using.

This may be a rookie answer but I always check to make sure I have selected the bluest corner in my color picker in the design process. Sometimes if the selection was made in the grayer area of the blue it can make a difference. Just a thought.

You're recommending buying a new set of ink BEFORE checking settings?!
Surely free things like nozzle check, and checking colour management settings and appropriate ICCs are in place should come before paying money for a load of ink you may not need!?

There is a reason the first question asked about printing problems is to check the expiration date on the inks. If they are old they need to be replaced.

I'd probably do it before a nozzle check or you could just be chasing your tail round and round and round.
