who what when how… t-shirt conventions?

okay so we are an in the works t-shirt company, not just regular tee's with a design printed on it… a little more classy than that. We are wondering if there are any trade/shows or conventions for just t-shirts instead of whole fashion lines if that makes any sense. We are looking to come out with new designs for each season and eventually sell our products in boutiques in major cities. We will also eventually have jewelry but we want to find a convention where we can go and promote our shirts, necklaces, rings, bandannas, earrings, etc without feeling small or alone in a crowd of big fashion designers. if this makes sense to anyone, and anyone can help us out with some websites for shows or conventions, that would be of great help. thank you!

I'd also like to know how are the atmospheres at these? Any tips for someone who is a first time vendor? Is it a pretentious environment?

Yea, I mean we're going to be thinking about conventions like this in the near-future, and would love to hear of experiences from people who have attended before. Please share! =)
