Hello everyone, I am currently in the process of doing as much research about the tshirt business as possible so i can make a realistic budget outline and eventually get started in the field, .....at this point the question I have is, if Im having a company do the screen printing for me, do these companies provide the shirts to be used (Not for free of course) or do i buy the blanks from a different source and then submit these to them? anyone's help in this matter would be much appreciated, thanks in advance.

It's usually less expensive and less hassle to have your printer order your shirts. Because of their volume, they can usually buy them cheaper than you can.
The exception might be if you have a specific shirt you want used and your printer can't get it for you.

As Joe says, you will most likely find the best deal through your screen-printer on t-shirt blanks. Another thing to keep in mind, many screen print companies will not allow outside sourced blanks unless you are a print broker or a contract customer.
