Hi, your questions is aim to garments products. Actually I don't think to import from India or China have too much differences. I represent one of Chinese garment manufacturers to say that. How do you think? Hope to share your points on the questions.

Compared with importation, many people will choose to buy near their home door instead of importation,for some reason they will import, like I drink,eat or use something in daily lift that were imported from overseas.

Each have their pros and con's , just do your research, and find the right seller.

Its all based on the value of the items your importing. To get exact rates, call up to the shipping company your going to be using and they will give you their %'s of their rates for brokerage, duty,s Taxes. As for avoiding the duties, that's illegal technically. Now, when purchasing most companies that have licensed brokers will or can offer you FOB CNF prices.

None really efficient, now china uses EMS, their local postal service. Most European companies stay away from the big box stores like UPS and Fedex cause fees are restarted sometimes for their customers and it kills deals.

Hard to give an answer without sounding a bit racist , but I'd say China. I've had bad experiences with India and so have a some other people I know too.

Agree with the above poster about EMS. Usually much cheaper than UPS/DHL/FEDEX etc.. And the good thing about EMS is that they don't seem to really care about paperwork regarding customs charges, import taxes etc.. Which is very useful if you live in the UK. They just deliver your stuff and you never hear from them again!

We import Tshirts in Holland from Pakistan as its cheap then China, India and Indonesia, the frieght charges are $ 310 for 50kg & $ 610 for kgs & delivery in just 5 days from Pakistan. I think frieht charges in Pakistan are less than China or any other country....... We have 2 friends from Pakistan from Which we are buying from last 2 years.............
About Tax or import duty in USA i have no idea........ Ok dear........ Byeeeeeeeee
