white ink on motherboard and powerboard

My Viper white ink tube splattered ink all night on the machne and I found ink on the boards inside. The control panel was sending error codes, so I checked for damage and found ink on the boards, cleaned them with 91% alcohol and then put it back, now the control panel lights are not coming on and the buttons do not work on the control panel. The power does come on but the led board that has commands does not come on, but the green light and the wims turns on, should I replace both boards or just one or is it the fuse? need advice please:confused:

First check you ribbon cable connections to the boards for any burn marks.

I am also getting error codes 10004 and 1001D and the carriage keeps slamming back to the dock when it is not there when starting. I did check the wiring, did not see any burn marks when I cleaned off the ribbons or boards. Also delay when powering on the machine, takes approx 5-10 sec to turn on display

The problem is that the inks are water based so that if your circuit boards were flooded with ink they were covered in water. Obviously water and electrical parts are a very bad combination. The boards could very well be all shot, especially if the printer was plugged in while the ink was flooding them. Short circuited boards are not necessarily something you can see visually.

would the circuit boards also make it so the control panel does not work when you push the button it does not respond? do you think it is both boards? attached are pics of the ink and where they landed on the boards
