White ink on black shirts

The dreaded old question white ink on black shirts. I need recommendation for a job with ink on black shirts. Shirts are gildan 100% cotton. Do I need to under base the white or can I get away with one screen and print flash print. If so what size mesh should I use to do this. There is no other colors just white ink. Thanks for any help.

The only reason you'll want two white screens for an underbase and overprint is if you're running an auto. Which I'm *guessing* you're not doing. PFP is the standard on the manual.

Look up "One Hit White" on YouTube - Bill Hood has a lot of great videos that will really help your technique doing white on black. I will say that I have better results with 5% reducer through a 156 than plain ink through a 110, the way his videos recommend.
