I have begun seeing a new issue on my T-Jet. It started on the last job.

I started noticing the white ink layer was getting thinner and thinner. The spits on the cleaning station and the opposite were getting less and less volume till they were almost no white lines on the spit station or capping station.

They would go back to normal after a head cleaning but after about 1 print would start going bad again. So I pulled the head over to swap it off and found the white ink majorly clumped on the head itself.

So I took a picture. Steps i did to recreate this:

1. Cleaned capping station
2. Swabbed head
3. Ran head clean
4. Printed 720x720
5. Pulled head over and shot the picture

This is after one print.

White ink was shaken and repulled prior to printing. Firebird Inks, White ink was purchased March 13. Not sure if the age has anything to do with it or not.

Thoughts? Ideas?

Have you been agitating the whites ink on a regular basis. Ideally, whites ink should be agitated daily especially during warmer summer months.

Is you print environment excessively warm/hot and do you know the actual humidity near the printer?

I do agitate the inks. Maybe not daily but i do agitate and re pull prior to printing.

Humidity is 50 - 55%. And temperature doesn't go above 80 (not sure if thats to high). I built a box around the printer for Humidity control and have two humidity gauges in the box on seperate sides.

Perseot,

What printer are you using?
Can you post pictures of your head after a head clean and then do a couple of prints with full white underbase and take another picture of your head without doing a head clean.
A picture of your environment would help as well.

Sorry for the delay is a printer R2000 with Dampers
That is a dirty print head. It's recommended to clean your print head at the end of every printing day. All that ink build up should be cleaned off daily or it will continue to build up. You can easily take an alcohol pad and wipe off all that build up. You may have to put your finger nail to it to pull off any old dry ink. Also, while your doing your daily maintenance you want to take an alcohol pad, or a foam swab with cleaning solution or windex, and wipe the bottom of the print head gold plate where the nozzles are located. I see in the picture that you have white ink on it. This needs to also be wiped daily or the build up will get worse over time and eventually clog your head. From the looks of the picture of your underbase it may already be clogging. This is why the white is very poor and why you see the banding/lines across it. I recommend to do a reverse flush on the print head as soon as possible if your comfortable in doing so. This may help save the print head if it's not to late.

Thank you to respond, I'm very confused
This is my case:I give head cleaning and nozzle check and remain well, print 5 or 6 shirts very well, but they begin to appear a cloud and small white drops on the head and the print nozzles I get scratched, I give head cleaning again and gives me to print 5 or 6 t-shirts and new cloud and Gothic white... under the level of the inks in bulk and in the morning it appears the liquid that I put in the evenings to maintenance in the dampers station means that is is returning to lower level

give the capping station a thorough cleaning, your wiper might be clogged up. If you haven't been agitating the inks daily, you could have "sediment" in the lines and have clogged up your dampers. That may be the next place to look, how much white ink are you laying down? the already possibly partially clogged dampers might not be able to keep up.
