I am getting ready to do my first paying job useing 301 OP WB White. What screen would be better for this? A 110 mesh or A 156 mesh. I have tried the 156 already and the ink is light in areas and heavy in others. any suggestions welcome

For newbie manual printing, stick with 110 mesh or coarser. It will make it easier for you. Refine technique and then move on to finer mesh, which will result in softer feeling prints.

Make sure your ink is a good viscosity that will allow it to pass through and release from the mesh.

If it clings to the mesh and lifts back up off the garment (such as you described), try reducing the viscosity.

Be careful with using mesh that is too fine with waterbased ink. The finer the mesh, the higher the probability the screen will clog.

Thanks, yes the 156 worked much better. Now to deal with the viscosity.

If your white is to thick try a little curable reducer.

Pretty sure he is using Waterbased ink. If so, we recommend Matsui Ptintgen MG to slow down the evaporation of the ink and make it release better from the screen
