Easiest is DTG, but it can be done with a 4 colour process depending on quantity and you also need to make sure you have a good press that can keep registration.
The first print is likely a 4 color process or a 4 color simulated process and water based inks. The second is plastisol simulated process. These are printed in Thailand on a line press.Just been looking at some t-shirt companies and found these tees which are 100% cotton

Maybe discharge printing , it's cheaper than DTG and looks very good.
I'd say this is pretty much spot on! CMYK (4 colour process) in the first photo and simulated process for the second.
