Howdy all,

We are looking at starting a small t-shirt business back here in Australia and we were wondering if the great knowledable folks out there could guide us to the BEST transfer papers to use for the production of Injet Tansfers, we don't mind importing from overseas.

We have tried some commerical grade paper here but it doesn't seem to be quite up to the job and has quite a hard hand when washed. We are looking at printing onto light and dark fabric and would like to have the choice of matt, semi-gloss and even a high gloss (if such a thing exsists) finish to our completed transfer.

We are going to be selling to the public and wish to ensure that our T-Shirts are of the best quality possible...

We hope someone out there can guide us in the right direction.

With Kind Regards

I would suggest you use http://www.tshirtpaper.com/ for your opaque paper. And order the glossy overlay if you want high gloss finish. I liked the way my shirts turned out when I used their paper. The overlay paper can be used several times over. I printed 25 shirts and only used 2 sheets of over lay paper. The feel was kinda soft, but you can only get kinda soft with transfer paper. Always gonna have a sort of hard feel with transfer paper.
