Looking to spend $300 or under on a heat press. I am not using it for business and will only be making shirts and things from time to time.

Save your money, There is no need to jump in this right now your not going to pay your mortgage with this hobby anyways. I would highly recommend staying away from ebay/amazon TRW has a nice red press

contact uscutter.com.. great prices for your budget., But you get what you pay for with anything at low cost.. I started with a hotronix fusion 16x20 from stahls.com and loving it for doing 50/50 shirts.
Geo Knight has a press for you...jp12 and jp14 (i think thats the model numbers) you can get a slightly used one from ebay for 200 or less and it doesn't take up a lot of space when your not using it. (and its a swing away).
A slightly used Hotronix will serve your purpose. These are some of the best heat press machines for DTG printing solutions.

They are not doing DTG....
Go to Sunie.com!, Leading Provider of Signs Equipments and Supplies. (if that gets censored go to sunie (.) com)

They have a sale on their presses. Many people love their presses. The only thing I've been seeing is that WHEN there's an issue, sometimes they're helpless.. however, HOWEVER, they do sell parts to the machines such as temp controls / timers etc.

The 15 x 15 I think is like $209 SHIPPED... and their 16 x 20 deep is only $319 I believe. I myself (used to have a maxx 16x20 as well as geckos and other ebayers) miss my maxx press, but don't have a grand to dispose on it right now.

I am an airbrush artist who (used to) mix media with transfers.
I keep getting email notifications that "blackblack" has commented on this thread... but I don't see any comments by him. Can anyone else?
